I am a fashion Designer and owner of Hummingbird. I am based in Phoenix, AZ and we are designing bold fashion for daring individuals that stand out, live in true harmony. I am a proud Hispanic woman who enjoys spending time with my big family in the U.S. and Mexico. One of my goals is to travel more and meet new people with different backgrounds, cultures, styles, and histories. As a child, I enjoyed painting objects, people, animals, environment and creating sculptures. I stepped into the fashion industry when I started my junior year of high school but I started investing more of my time in fashion when I joined art school and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design in 2017. I gained experience from my previous jobs such as fabric warehouse, fashion events, clothing stores and Broadway Theater as a costume stitcher while working on my business at home.  I discovered a deeper interest in designing clothes when I saw my inspirational fashion designer Oscar de La Renta with his vibrant floral colors and embroidery collection. I believe fashion has given me a purpose to move forward, it’s another work of art.
